Gearing Up for Grants
There are many different types of funding opportunities available. A few of the most common - and sometimes most critical - include those from the Family and Youth Services Bureau's (FYSB) runaway and homeless youth (RHY), such as Basic Center Program (BCP), Street Outreach Program (SOP), Transitional Living Program (TLP) / Maternity Group Home (MGH). Generally, there is a limited number of RHY program grants available and because of this, grant season can be a scary time for youth service organizations. National Safe Place Network understands how important funding is and how stressful preparing a proposal can be. We're ready to support you and help make the process easier.
The Network has launched an annual Gearing Up for Grants email series. This series includes tips on getting prepared, writing grant proposals, understanding the review process, and handling the stress once your proposal has been submitted. This resource is available to NSPN members only. Learn more about accessing Gearing Up for Grants here.
